- Q: What is the difference between pumps with built-in controller and pumps with external controller?
- A: The advantages of solar pumps for water filling motors with built-in controller are as follows:
1) Power Factor Correction Mode: Power Factor Correction reduces cable losses. For example, if the cabling is longer than 100 meters, you can choose to use a 2.5mm² size cable. (In other cases, cables of 4mm² or more are usually required).
2) Built-in board with boost mode: Firstly, the built-in controller has a wider range (the matching range of the board is wider than that of the ACDC controller); secondly, when the input voltage of the solar panel is low, the controller can automatically adjust the voltage and continue to use it, whereas the ACDC controller simply stops working when it falls below the voltage range.
- Q: How do I replace a controller with a built-in canned pump?
- A: The pump body, motor and controller of the pump are three-part removable construction. For maintenance, the bottom controller can be replaced by unscrewing the screws and removing it.
